I've just moved from New Zealand and had to leave most of my coffee related stuff there when I moved. I'm currently working with a hand-grinder and aeropress and I miss my espresso at home. I've sourced a reasonable grinder, but I was wondering if anyone had an old machine they'd be happy to part with for free or cheap.
I do enjoy refurbishing machines, so a decent, but non-working machine would be a good project as well.
I'm keeping an eye on craigslist and have been scouring garage sales, but nothing has come up apart from the usual krups and low-end brevilles.
I'm based at the Point Grey end of Kitsilano, and am currently using bike/bus transport, so closer would be easier, but I could travel further for something nice.
I would have posted in buy/sell, but this is a local question and I lost the email attached to my old account so don't have enough posts yet to put one up there...

Hi,
Like a good Kitsilano neighbor, I'm here to offer assistance. Got a few machines collecting dust. Avoid CL - many let downs there. lacoffeemills@gmail.com Cheers
