Hello everyone,
I am new to Calgary (grad student at UofC). I'm big fan of quiet coffees (no loud music) with free wifi. Just looking for places to study/surf the web for 2/3 hours. Preferably those quiet ones and open till midnight..

Have you tried Central Blends?
They're located just off of 19th street and 1st ave NW.
I used to live 2 blocks away and used to go there all the time while I was studying back in the 1990's. I have some very fond memories of that place.
They used to sell a beverage called a "Shaker", which is just a Canadiano, or a "Cowboy"... A double shot of espresso mixed in with the house coffee.
Although, I ordered it iced, sweetened with some cream in it... I would typically drink four of them and pull an all-night cramming session afterwards. (From a health perspective, I don't recommend doing that..)
