It's a bit more expensive, but I would highly recommend you try out Rocanini in Vancouver. They have the best beans I've ever tried. Easy. I would say mind blowingly good. Especially their Ethiopian Simu. But it's 16 bucks for the pound.
You won't be disappointed. Their Guatamala is a medium dark roast that is our favorite. $15 a 400g bag, tax in.
They hold open houses a couple times a year, $25 gift cards go for $20 and bags of coffee for $10. Next open house is Dec 22. I was just there today :)
