Recently signed up for Dairyland Home Delivery (Milk etc.) - and got a free sample bag of "Peet's Coffee". I guess you can order it through Dairyland. Anyone here ever do this? Not going to do it myself - but I just wondered how "fresh" the beans were. Any ideas on the inventory cycle of this stuff? Anyway - I'm finished my JJ bean Rawandan so I'll press this stuff tomorrow. Just wondered if there were any opinions or impressions on this stuff - and what your thoughts were re - this kind of home delivery.

Drank that Peets.... Someone in my family had already opened the bag, so it was maybe open for 4 weeks --- (still tightly resealed though) and it wasn't very good. It was quite harsh actually -- earthy with that burnt finish. It lacked body, was better warm as opposed to hot. Not a true test for me though cause it was preground and already opened. No date on the bag either. Oh well.
