Subject: Seeking Fellow Home Roasters in Lower Mainland

I am interested in buying green beans wholesale, and I was looking at this supplier:

www.westcoastcoffeetraders.com

They have a warehouse in Coquitlam, but they have a minimum order of 2 bags which is between 132 - 154 pounds per bag.

I got some spot prices, and for example with $3.79 a pound and 154 pounds per bag that is $1167 for 308 pounds of beans.
Add tax, and it comes up to around $1300, or $4.22 a pound.

I am seeking other home roasters to join forces with me to share the purchase. If say four of us join forces, we could each
get 1/4 a bag of two different coffees, for 1/4 the total cost.

We would need to pick up at the warehouse and weigh and divide up the beans. It would be a huge savings.

I'm Poco. If you are interested contact me direct.

Duncan

Although I am a 52 pound a year preroasted coffee consumer, I'd still be interested in about 20 pounds of green beans every year.  If you are willing to be a middleman for me, I'd be happy to purchase my greens through you.
