Hi,
About a year ago, after reading many postings on coffeegeek I purchased a Rancilio Silvia. Soon thereafter we decided to retire and move to Italy...and of course, the wiring is all wrong for my espresso machine. I am wondering now what to do .... have the thing rewired, or get a converter that will handle the machine (I've never bought a converter for something with a heating unit in it....and wonder what to look for to get something adequate).
Has anyone else had this experience, and how did you handle it?

Thank you for the reply. This is quite an expensive solution--at least for me right now. I think I'll have to make do with my Brikka moka pot for awhile.
