I'm no great authority on this Jens, but I'm not aware of any specialist retailers in central London. However, the larger, higher-end department stores are quite well-stocked (e.g. the basement in Selfridges, ?fourth floor in Harvey Nichols, John Lewis - all of which are, conveniently, close to each other on Oxford Street).
Matthew Algie are at Angel, Islington. I don't know a great deal about them, but they seem pretty popular on alt.coffee; don't know if that counts as 'central' London though.
