Subject: Steam wand replacement for Gaggia / Rancilio Silvia

I live in London and I'm trying to get hold of the steam wand for the Rancilio Silvia in order to replace my steam wand on the Gaggia Baby. Every country in the known world except the UK seems to have endless online shopping possibilities.

Does anyone know where I could find this part because most of the US sites like WLL don't deliver to the UK!

Thanks

p.s. can anyone tell me if replacing the Gaggia steam wand actually works. The other threads I've read seem to start discussion about it but no one replies with an answer

Hi Carl,
Have you tried: http://www.coffeemachinecompany.co.uk/      They are the UK importers of Rancilio, I have never dealt with them but I would contact them in the first instance for spares for Miss Silvia.

Hi Carl,

You can definitely get it at Wholelattelove. I just received some stuff from them and I live in London.

Here's the direct link: http://www.wholelattelove.com/ECM/silvia_steam_pipe.cfm

Strange that you can't actually place your order to the UK though. I had to email them directly and confirm everything by email.

If you get stuck, email Matt Cookinham on: shipping@wholelattelove.com

If you want a Gaggia part you can try: http://www.espressoparts.com/index.php/categories/1/15

They also ship to the UK, but when I dealt with them they said it would be quite expensive but didn't mention a price.

Thanks soulfire,

Happy donkey is brilliant!

Do you know by any chance whether this item is the Silvia steam tube? It just says Rancilio.

It's not a Silvia arm - have a look at the picture here.

Cheers

Do you know whether this will work instead then with a Gaggia Baby?

That I wouldn't know. Someone like Alan Frew might know, try mailing him - he'd probably be able to send you one as well.

Cheers

hello

Director of Happy Donkey here.

Wouldn't normally reply to hype our site but since it's already mentioned:

We have the steam arm you are looking for in stock if you still require it please mail us from the site.

Thankyou for the kind words about our site!

Scott

Hello there. I've been lurking for a while, but this is my first post- it's a question I'm afraid!

I'm planning on modding my Gaggia Classic with the Silvia steam arm (like there are loads of posts about) but I'm just looking for confirmation that I'm ordering the correct thing. Are these two items correct?

Thanks in advance.
