Hey all, I'm looking for a part timer position in a cafe or roastery. I want to work somewhere that takes coffee seriously.
I have experience working in Cafes with espresso machines and many years in hospitality.
I have customer service qualifications and experience in money handling in both supermarket and small retail scenarios.
I have a years training as a Barista, hospitality and basic cheffing
I am enthusiastic about coffee and roasting and am familiar with all aspects of the coffee production process. I also have knowledge of the history of coffee and different cultural associations of coffee.
I have experience brewing coffee in the following ways: Espresso machine (both lever and automatic), 'Turkish' coffee (including etiquette) and the other 'home' methods of brewing.
I am self motivated, and have supervised staff under me and worked in positions under my own supervision (in cafes).
