My husband and I are going on holiday to Rome at the end of August. The plan is to get as wired on espressos and capps at the best caffes in Rome! We're going to go to Caffe Sant'Eustachio and Tazza d'Oro; but I'd like to know from those of you who have been if there are any other places in the center of Rome that we should make a point to visit. Also, are there any places where I might find a good deal on espresso equipment? Oh, and anywhere that I can purchase a heavenly espresso blend to take home!

The cafes dotted around piazza navona are worth a try, not only for the coffee but the mandatory people watching that makes espresso in Rome such an experience.
