I'm trying to help out a friend with a broken machine. He's got an Isomac that's not working right, and paying $$$ to ship it out of state for repairs isn't very appealing. Is there any place in Chicago or the Chicago area that does espresso machine repair?

Thanks for the help!

Haha...For a moment, I thought you were talking about me... Actually MikeP offered the same solution suggestion, but I have not heard from my Intelly contact yet...

Please let me know if you have any new info, and I'll do the same...

Cheers,

Steve

Espresso Wizard Home Espresso Machines

Chicago, IL 60630
(773) 777-6777

I have no idea what mahcines they would handle or if they do quality work.

Oops...  I forgot about these guys...

The Expresso Shoppe in Bensenville.  Besides spelling issues :) they claim to be able to repair any espresso machine.

Again, I've never been there, so your friend is on his own!

Well, I wasn't, but the guy I know has the exact same machine. Spooky!

Hi Steve!  The Millennium is doing great!

But...  It's being retired this weekend! :)  I bought an Izzo Alex from Chris' Coffee earlier in the week and it is being delivered tomorrow.  I really like the Millennium, but I wanted to make the change to a plumbed in, rotary pump machine.

I'll be advertising the Millennium once I am sure that I like the Alex and I have a chance to take some decent pictures.  I'm going to try to sell it to someone in the Chicago area since I don't have the original packing materials.

From what I heard that Intelly doesn’t repair the home machines is they don’t have the manuals nor the parts.  I sure will not enjoy doing the repair myself without the manual, so I guess I have to go check out the places Ron mentioned…
