I will be heading to Houston for a Wedding next week and wondering where I should stop in for a espresso?

There's only one place I've had really good espresso in Houston outside of my kitchen, and that is Catalina.

Email me offline if you'd like to hook up and come over for cofee, but I wouldn't suggest espresso anywhere else (but we do have wonderful restaurants and cafes here).

I would love to but I doubt I can get away from the family.  If I can I will hit you up and see what your schedule is like.  Thanks for the offer

OK, so bring the family!
I have family too, they'll probably be here....and we have plenty of space.

It's an open invitation, feel free to contact me and we'll see if it's possible to get together.

I haven't been to Catalina, but Max (the owner) stopped through OKC a few weeks back. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met. Very chill, really down to earth, and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend talking to him if you have the chance.

Yes, go there. It's the best espresso in Houston.

Catalina is at Washington and Hemphill, which is between Houston and Sawyer. It's exactly across the street from a Salvation Army store. Max, Ben, Dan, Taylor, Shane and Flip are awesome and are at the forefront of coffee culture at retail in this town. But you ought to also take up Jon on his offer. Seriously.

Thanks,

Zachary
