Currently I live about 5 miles south from Princeton but was born and raised there and work there as well.
The storm was the worst I've probably ever seen, the damage is surreal to see. Luckily no folks seriously hurt and knowing Princeton we'll bounce back with vigor!

Thanks guys it was crazy indeed, luckily Tiskilwa sits in an ancient glacial valley so the worst of the storm literally went right over us (in fact my yard is right against the edge of the valley wall/hill).
It’s like hearing a freight train rumble 30 feet over your head there is no describing that yet in my yard the wind can't be felt!
Luckily the worst I had personally was sticks and twigs (nothing a lawn rake couldn't handle).
Princeton is slowly looking back to normal (minus several trees). Folks have been working like crazy to clean and clear debris. My hats off to the folks running the crews to clean the town (they have their hands full).
