FYI - first time competitor training this Sunday, October 12th at Cuvee. Dan Streetman certified USBC head judge, (who will not judge a SCRBC because we have customers in the competition) as well as some accomplished competitors will be doing some basic rule/flow training from 10am - 2pm. This training is free and Dan is volunteering his time to make sure everyone understands the competition, rules and scoring. If you go, be sure and thank Dan for his time as he is making the trip from Austin to Houston just to train and help. If you want more info, email Dan directly at danstreetman@cuveecoffee.com

/bump!
looking forward to seeing all the coffeegeeks come out this weekend.
It is going to be exciting. 20 of the best baristas from Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas, are coming to show their skills. We also have some notable coffee professionals from across the nation who are coming to support, and help judge or volunteer.
great times will be had by all, and you especially don't want to miss the reception at Caffe Medici on Saturday night!
