I'm currently living in El Paso, am working at a coffee shop and am trying to land a job at a GOOD coffeeshop in San Antonio as I will be moving there in several months.  Any input???

dunno anything about coffee shops in San antonio but i would guess it is alot like the rest of the state.... good coffee shops are hard to find.

however.... if you are just looking for a place to make decent/good money I would probably try to search out a place down on ther river walk.... that's where most of the money is down there (tourists)

hope that helps and best of luck to ya

Where is this place "Cappuccino Paradise?"  I don't see it listed at http://yp.yahoo.com

I'm posting this from San Antonio... here for the week.  Completely random... nothing to do with 'holidays.' (yeah right).

I was about to post the same question here... I LOVE going to GOOD (or at least trying to be good) coffee shops!!!

Cappuccino Paradise
24170 HWY 281 North
In the Design Tech Homes Design Center

Mike Follette is the mgr and he is really looking to make his shop stand out.  They have a great group of people with a solid foundation to build on, in my opinion.

Happy Latte!

Hmmm.. interesting I may have to check it out, thats seems to be out towards the Stone Oak/Sonterra area.  Living in San Antonio the only options I've seen are Charbuxs & Seattle's Worst...nothing "local".

As an aside, does anyone know of any local roasters here in San Antonio?

As I reside in Miami Beach, I cannot vouch matters pertaining to quality, but here's a company you may consider contacting:

    San Antonio Coffee Roasters
   138 West Rhapsody Dr.
    San Antonio, TX  78216

    Tel:  210.308.8882

Notes: According to SACRs' Zanna (from Heaven), roasted and green coffees may be
purchased from them by individual consumers

Let me know how it goes!
