Are there any roaster-retailers on the east coast who are, in your esteemed opinion, as passionate about roasting & extraction techniques as some of my West Coast acquaintances: David Schomer of Espresso Vivace (Seattle, WA), Dr. Joseph John of Josuma Coffee (Menlo Park, CA), or John Hornall of Hines Public Market (Seattle, WA)?
I am working on a project involving 1,500+ Roasters Nationwide
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Info. I am seeking:
1) Name of Establishment 2) Telephone # 3) Website Address 4) Roaster/Proprietor's Name 5) Any other information you deem worthy or pertinent

Thanks for the editorial comment, Mr. Zeppelin, but contrary to your presumption the information being collected is being used for an Industry Directory I am writing and self-publishing and NOT for the service described on my website.
BTW I have already collected data, on my own, on over 1200 commercial wholesale roasters and roaster retailers. I have been involved professionally in the gourmet coffee industry for more than a decade now.
I just wanted to find out if there were any other commercial roasters out there who I may have missed and who would benefit from a totally free plug in this upcoming Directory.
P.S. As far as the costs related to my DataBase List that Mr. Zeppelin saw on my website, they are completely in line with industry standards- there is nothing 'obscene' about them. Mr. Zeppelin's use of such a term in this context seems to be somewhat ill-conceived and over-stated.

Cowpoke-
Don't mind yourself over Zeppelin's comments. His commentary always demonstrates his level of understanding and professionalism in the industry.
I can think of a couple of roasters that might be worth your investigation: Gimme Coffee in Ithaca, NY, Counter Culture Coffee and Stockton & Graham in North Carolina and Key Coffee Roasters in Baltimore, MD.
Paradise Roasters may be outside of the East Coast but Miguel is a deeply passionate roaster in Anoka, MN.

Seems like most folks have never heard of Mitalena Coffee. They're terrific, and they are one of the larger commercial specialty roasters in this region (if not in the country).
I have now sampled both greens and roasted product from them and have been more than satisfied with every item I've ever gotten there. The amazing part is that they can roast large commercial quantites (hundreds or thousands of pounds) but they seem equally willing to roast just a few pounds to order.

I quite like Rappahannock Coffee Roasters in Arlington, VA. I've only been there a few times, but I did buy some freshly roasted beans from them (some full-city Sumatra), and they were excellent. They have in-depth information on their website about their roasting and blending process in order to educate the consumer. I don't know the name of the proprietor, I'm afraid.
