While walking around downtown Hartford on Sat. evening, I was pleasantly surprised to see a new coffee bar on Pratt Street named Jojo's Coffee Roasting Co.

I was greeted by co owner Bill (other owner being his wife who's name has slipped my mind) who was nice enough to spend an hour of his time showing me his operation. This included his Dietrich roaster, La Marzocco espresso machine & various bags of unroasted coffee.

Most impressive was his current espresso blend on hand. Nice blend of flavors and not over roasted like many of the other coffee shops I've visited in CT & MA.

I highly recommend stopping in Jojo's Coffee Roasting Co. Please post your thoughts.

I'm wondering if you've been to Tisane and how it compares. Tisane used to be excellent.

I was not impressed with the espresso I had a year ago.

I did enjoy the Tisane martinis though.

The espresso has not improved. OK compared to a Starbucks with super auto, but that's about it. Not worth a special trip.

Good pannani's.
