Summer 2006, let's try this again.  Who would be up for a get together?  Lab Roasters appears to not be an option until Fall.  We could do at a shop, or I can volunteer my house.  I have a Mazzer Major and Super Jolly grinder and an Astra Pro hx e61 commercial espresso machine.  I also have my work setup at home now (Gaggia Coffee and Cunill Tranquilo) as school is out.  For roasting I have a Stir Crazy, and over 200 lbs of green beans in stock.  I have multiple french presses, a chemex, and an  Aeropress if anyone is not into espresso.
Other option would be looking into Black Cow, Zaccardi's (roasts and sells equipment, not a cafe) going to SI for MUddy Cup, or....
Kevin
P.S. I have been incognito recently, consumed by my beautiful new baby daughter, and my other love (other than espresso) my p-car.

Well if we do a Saturday or Sunday at my house you can bring it up!  I have a Mazzer Major, Mazzer Super Jolly, Astra Pro Semi Auto E61 hx machine, and I can bring home the work set up Cunill Tranquilo and Gaggia Coffee so we can have people try different machines grinders.  The Gaggia's pull great shots once dialed in on a good grinder.  I've also got a SC/CO roaster (awaiting new oven) and a stash of over 200 lbs of green beans including the 94 SO Robusta from Paradise Roasters.  Maybe a couple of people could bring some stuff from Cafe Vivace, Intelligentsia Black Cat, etc.?  How's that sound to people?

Leo the roaster and grinder would be more than enough to bring.  I've always wanted to try the popcorn roaster, would work nice for me to try different roast styles.  What works better for people Saturday or Sunday, next week or the week after?
