Can anyone recommend shops in Manhattan that roast their own onsite or have local (NYC) roasterias/suppliers? I've been very spoiled, having lived in Chicago for 3 years, by Metropolis (roasts their own onsite -- giant roaster in the back of the cafe!) and Intelligentsia (roasts offsite, but gets regular deliveries). I am looking for FRESH coffee :-)
