Hey All,

Just wanted to extend an invitation to New York Coffee Geeks out there for the July meeting of the New York Coffee Society. It is July 10th, at 7 pm, at Jack's Coffee on Front Street in Manhattan. No charge.

The NYCS is a non-commercial, independent, informal club of coffee professionals and amateurs. Our focus is on cupping coffees and discussing them, to come to a better understanding of fine coffee. We have been holding monthly meetings in Manhattan and Brooklyn since February 2007.

This month's topic is Nicaragua. As most of you know, this is the prime time of the year for Nicaraguan coffee. We'll do a calibration cupping and then a round of scored cupping using some of the best Nic's available in North America. Afterwards you can usually talk a few of us into getting a beer somewhere. Come on by if you are free, and bring a friend.

Just a follow-up.

NYCS will be putting on another event later in July. All I can say is that coffee connoisseurs will definitely want to attend. Attendance will be invite-only, but we will be giving out pre-invite info and invites to people who can make it Tuesday night.

Hope to see you there. RSVP to newyorkcoffeesociety@gmail.com

Peace.
