Subject: Anything new in the Charlotte, NC area?

I'll be in Charlotte, NC next week and was curious if there's anything new in the area as far as roasters or great coffee shops.  I've read a bunch of older posts on some places that might be worth a visit but it sounds like there isn't as much for great (straight) shots or beans to take home and try, or maybe I'm wrong.  Anybody have recent updates?  Thanks for any help.

Sorry, I didn't see your reply until after I got back from the trip.  I ended up going to Java Passage and The Perk (formerly the Dilworth Playhouse).  They were both pretty good shops and Java Passage has a nice red 3 group La Marzocco FB70.  Nice area but mostly the common Starbucks and Caribou Coffee from what I saw.  I didn't know about Julia's Coffee but I would have checked it out while in the area.  Thanks for the suggestion if I ever make it back out there.
