Hi,
I am looking for coffee geeks here in NYC that have experience with home grinders (for espresso) and espresso machines that can talk to me and help me decide what to buy....

I have been very happy with my Rancilio Rocky (doserless) for over two years now. I go through a lb a week of Leftist or Black Cat. Some folks have complained that the Rocky won't let you make fine enough changes in the grind but I have never really felt this was a problem for me. I dial it in for each lb and then sometimes one click finer as the week wears on. I am not the most sophisticated user but it has been an ideal partner for my Expobar Pulser. Got mine from Chris' Coffee (a Coffee Geek sponsor) and would buy from them again.
