I wondered if anyone knows of an all night coffee house in the Fairfax, VA or nearby area. I know I could venture into Washington DC but thats a little bit away. Here in Fairfax, from what I see the options are Denny's, 29 Diner, and IHOP, none of which can even make a decent cup of Joe. I like my coffee rich and strong and only on rare occassions does IHOP manage a strong brewed pot. Please help me if you have some suggestions. I'm actually from the Southern VA area and I'd like to go out study and enjoy a nice espresso or at least a decent cup of coffee. If you have some suggesstions PLEASE let me know!

::sighs:: I think that will be the last option, to just commute for the joe, but by god, I'll do it. Right now I order in and make my own coffee and tote it along with me. Still, thats least the desire for expression unsatiated. Can you recommend some 24 hr decent coffee places in DC?

Tryst in Adams Morgan (near 18th and Columbia Rd) is open late. Their house shot is a ristretto...nice. Also late night, try Kramerbooks near Dupont Circle. Quality of shots vary, but it's something, anyway. Are you working the graveyard shift?
