Subject: Annapolis Coffeeshops?

Has anyone been to the Hard Bean Coffee & Booksellers on Market Street at Annapolis' City Dock?

I'd like to hear your feedback about this place, your experience, their baristas and their drinks.

We received an application from a former barista there and wanted to know what to expect.

Thanks in advance

I am almost a year late, but I just joined. I go downtown  often. I go to Severna Park (way out-of-the-way) for coffee. I am sorry, but I find that there is  a lack of competent help at the shop, the beans are all mexican, and they seem to burn them in the grind. Starbucks is a 1/2 block away, and as much as I hate to say, is better. For a cup, try Ego Alley across the street.

In Severna Park, there is a place called "Waterman Joe's". They have great coffee and beans. They are a retail front for  coffee roasters called The Daily Roast in Annapolis Junction. I have not tried Espresso, but their drip grinds are killer.
