This may be a stupid post, but I was in the HomeGoods store near North Point Mall looking for odds and ends for the coffee shop I'm working at now, and ran across 3 Francis!Francis! X5 machines behind some toasters and irons. I don't have a decent home machine and am considering buying one of these. I still need to read some reviews on them, but heck, for $299.99 it can't be a terrible deal...can it?
I just figured that if anyone out there was looking for a cool looking home machine but couldn't afford anything from the Elektra Casa line ($1000-ish) this might be a decent place to start.
