Well, I'll launch this thread. Jerry put me up to it, he wants to have a cupping at his place. George, you should come since you've probably done more cuppings than all of us put together...
Here are my thoughts on how this should go down: *someone posts a time to have a cupping *we'll post and repost until we all agree on a time *we'll meet for a cupping *the thread gets closed and a new thread is begun for the next cupping *we try to keep the number of post as low as possible to arrange a cupping
Alrighty, here goes. How about Friday the 3rd after Thanksgiving?

If you guys are in the neighborhood we'd love for you to stop by Java Passage for a visit! We're at Worthington and Camden under the water tower in the old Spaghetti Warehouse building. We've been open a month, growing the business one Cappucino at a time.
Our coffee come from Counter Culture. The store is technicaly a kiosk in the lobby, but there's plenty of seating, free wi-fi with purchase, and the Courtyard has a couple of tables if the weather's decent.
Hours are Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm for now since most of our clients are in the businesses located in/around the Design Center.
Friday will be a really slow day with almost everybody closed....we'll need the company!

George When are you roasting again? My son-in-law is bringing his poppery for me to use and it would be good to get your experience on my first trys. That will shorten my learning curve. Can I buy some raw beans from you too? Blayne

I'll be off until next Wednesday. I would be glad to give you a hand. And I have plenty of green beans to roast. If you want to roast Saturday or Sunday that would be fine with me.

I can make it to Java Passage this Friday. Noon as usual?
George, that Papua New Guinea of yours makes one damned fine cappa! Cuts right through with great flavor. The straight double is sure tasty, but it's like a lion roaring in your face! I was getting a hint of something earthy and vegetative (in a good way) towards the end, have you noticed this? I can't can't nail down the flavor, even with that cupping-flavor-wheel thing.
Bob, what's in your setup? Are you in the new Hadco showroom?
