I didn't realize how dependent I had become on my machine until I loaded into my truck yesterday. Not only does the kitchen look unbalanced and strangely empty but I've been 14 hours now without a shot.
I went in to make a french press and realized that I would have to boil the water on the stove. Gasp!
My daughter has been abusing me all evening about her lost Latte.
I hope that my sacrifice for espressofest 2004 is duly noted!

Well, I'm glad you brought your S1 up to the Espresso Fest 2004! I was able to construct a right-nice latte using the S1 with Counter Culture Coffee's Espresso Forte. Very yummy! I think the S1 was arguably one of the nicest machines at the show. Steam pressure really kicks!

Glad you got to use it. I'm sorry that Dan and I didn't get to install the new motor mounts before the show. If we had, you would have noticed that the S1 was also one of the quietest machines at the show. '0)
