I am planning to spent the Christmas/New Years week with family in Carlsbad north of San Diego. Any good espresso in the area?
I have followed the thread on San Diego coffee so I have some shops to try in the city. I just wonder if there is anything a bit closer to where we are staying.

I think you will be able to find some there....but I cannot tell you where. There is a quaint downtown area that seems to be up on trends. I do know that there is a coffee shop that roasts in town....so I would think they would have something to drink. It is near the library inland a little.....Like off of El Camino Real and Pointsettia (north end of shoppin center).

Update. The streets have changed. They renamed that part of Pointsettia to Aviara. But intersection of Dove Lane and El Camino real.....south west corner....puts you there.
