Last week at Four Barrel I picked up this Ethiopia Mordecofe coffee. Brewed on a press pot the coffee had a very nice aroma and tasted sweet with nice complexity and good body. Very soothing like having a hot chocolate on a cold day.

I also got this Four Barrel El Salvador Kilimanjaro. Press pot coffee was very fruity with very nice acidity and a clean finish. This is really good coffee!

In the past I visited Four Barrel on Mondays when the front bar at Four Barrel was closed, but now the front bar is open everyday!

I ordered a single origin Sulawesi espresso. Beans are weighed and ground on the Versalab M3 grinder. Notice the ground distribution pattern in the portafilter. Click Here (www.home-barista.com)

Burundi single origin coffee beans being weighed and ground in the front bar at Four Barrel. The coffee is brewed on the V60.

Can anyone comment on their "Friendo Blendo Espresso" blend? There's a group buy going on for their beans on massdrop.com. Currently $13.32 for 12 oz and drops to $11 if 44 people join ($6.5 shipping). 4 Barell says they'll roast and ship a week after the group buy ends.

Just wondering if anyone has tried it. Debating whether to pick up a bag.

Thanks for posting. Friendo Blendo is great. It's their house blend that they serve for most of their milk based drinks and also as an espresso. I get it frequently.

The shipping makes this a non-deal for me. I posted a note on that site - trying to figure out if I can pick it up if I'm local...
