Now, I have quotation marks around best due to the subjective nature of my question. For me, "best" is characterized as a lightly fresh roasted beans brewed by a qualified Barista... I know, sure narrowed it down... I prefer Cafe's that roast there own beans, I have found this leads to the freshest tastiest espresso and pourovers. I had just visited Portland and my personal favorites for Espresso were: 1) Coava, 2)Heart 3)Public Domain and 4) Stumptown coffee roasters downtown location. Pourover I prefered Public Domain and Stumptown then Coava.
I reside in Vancouver, and enjoy Revolver and 49th parallel Cafe's.
I hope that does enough to indicate my tastes.
