I'll be going around with a friend again on the 23rd. I seem to remember someone mentioning a place other than Intelli in the Venice area but I don't remember where or what it was.
Looking for suggestions. I'm going to try to drag her down to the get together Sunday. She lives in Bakersfield, one of California's Coffee Deserts.
So any ideas are welcome, 3 wave the best, but will take good second wave as well. Thanks.

Venice Grind can be good.. we use Stumptown and are usually quite good in the early part of the day, and striving to get more consistency overall. It is on Venice Blvd. between Centinela and Grandview..

I know this is already past your travel schedule but another option in Venice for future reference is Groundworks Coffee. Everything is organic and they roast their own.
