If you want to write an article on ethics in coffee, including subjects covering sustainable growth, poverty, the coffee crisis, women in coffee issues, or even just the occasional "feel good" story, we want to see it.

Write up an article of between 1,200 and 2,000 words (or more if you like), triple proof read it and get someone to check it for grammar and flow, and put it in a Word document or text file. Find a suitable square photo to complement the story, fill out the other required fields below, and submit it. We'll get back to you on its publication status.

• Articles must be at least 1,500 words in length, 2,000 words or more preferred. Microsoft Word, or RTF (Mac) formats are the only formats we'll accept.
• Articles must be triple proof read - proof read by you, by someone you know, and then by you again. A polished, easy flowing article has a better chance of being published. Proof read for style, grammar, and flow. English only, but US, UK, or even Canadian English is acceptable.
• Articles must be topical, informative, entertaining, educational, or a combination of all four. Articles that are essentially promotional pieces for a commercial venture or company will not be published.
• An "identifier photograph" must be submitted with the article - this is a photograph that sets the tone for what the article is about. Requirements are a square image, at least 300pixels square or larger.
• Other photographs (with tag descriptions optional) that complement the article are also encouraged.
• Include a short 1-2 sentence biography of yourself, written in third person.
• Include a photo of yourself, in portrait style, at least 100 pixels tall by 75 pixels wide, or larger.
• Include your contact information as requested on the form.
• Items marked with an asterix * are required. All other fields are optional.
