BARATZA™ introduces their newest grinder the Maestro Plus by Solis. The Maestro Plus, which will be available in June, 2003, is full of improvements over the incredibly popular Maestro Grinder by Solis. These improvements contribute to more than a doubling of the weight over the Maestro, and give the Maestro Plus a rock-solid feel with increased stability. This grinder is built with conical burrs that can produce the perfect grind for any style of coffee from Turkish grind to French Press. The range of grind is 30% greater than the original Maestro; this increase is on the coarsest settings making it easier to get the perfect grind for Drip and French Press. The number of grind settings has been increased by over 100% providing finer steps between grind adjustments. Improved graphics on the timer switch provide for easier repeatable settings. A sculpted metal base and the monochromatic enclosure give this new grinder a bold, distinctive look.

The Maestro Plus is built with conical burrs to yield the consistent, fine grind critical for a perfect espresso extraction and is easily adjustable for any style of coffee. Special gear reduction for slow rotation insures extremely low static and minimized heat in the beans, thereby preserving the flavor. The Maestro Plus has tight fitting components and an anti-static design for clean and quiet operation. This grinder has a timer switch for repeatable coffee quantity and a front mounted microswitch for precise grinding quantity. Coffee can be ground directly into a porta-filter, filter basket or the 5 oz bin. The grinder burrs are removable for easy cleaning.
