The WBC sanctioned 2005 Canadian National Barista Championship in Toronto was held on June 13 – 14, 2005 at the Canadian Coffee & Tea Expo in Toronto!  Baristi from around Canada participated in this national event.

Grand Prizes included a free trip to Bern, Switzerland representing Canada in the 2006 World Barista Championship in April, a Championship Trophy, a single group espresso machine from Krups and a beautiful engraved tamper from Reg Barber.  Runner Up received a beautiful plaque and a Reg Barber tamper. Third place was awarded a plaque and a Reg Barber engraved tamper. Fourth through Sixth each received beautiful finalist plaques and a Krups grinder/coffee maker.
