The Espresso Specialists, Inc. headquarters will host the 2nd Annual Northwest Barista Jam from February 21 – 22, 2004 in Seattle, Washington. In addition to our regular events, the Northwest Barista Jam will hold its 1st ever Barista Signature Drink and Latte Art Workshop!
Participating Baristi (an espresso bartender or someone who expertly prepares espresso coffees) from the Northwest Regional States and nationally will attend this two day “Jam” and work with some of the best national coffee experts in this 2nd annual event of its kind.
Sherri Johns, President, WholeCup Coffee and event coordinator, names her secret ingredient for preparing a great cup of espresso, “enjoy yourself and your customers and love coffee”.
The energy level is bound to be high when baristi from cafes around the nation will blend espresso, visit some “hot spots” in Seattle for great coffee, learn about espresso machines, participate in a “Signature and Latte Art workshop, witness a professional barista demonstrate competition skills and finally, compete in the 2nd Annual NWBJ Barista Competition! This great event made possible by Zoka Coffee Roaster and Tea Company, DaVinci Syrups, NASCORE / FreshCup Magazine, Espresso Supply, Inc., Espresso Specialists, Inc., Batdorf & Bronson Roasters, Espresso Parts Northwest and WholeCup Coffee.
