SAECO'S NEW FULLY AUTOMATED HOUSEHOLD ESPRESSO MACHINE
IS A REVOLUTIONARY WAY TO MAKE COFFEE

"Just push the button"

VANCOUVER, BC (November 19, 2003) - The Saeco International Group, the world's leading manufacturer of fully automatic espresso and specialty coffee machines for residential and commercial use, have Vancouver retailers buzzing with excitement as they market a new way to make coffee at home. Just in time for Christmas!

Grind.dose.tamp.brew.dispense

The Saeco line of fully automated machines are modern and elegant, easy to use, and at the touch of a button, they - grind whole beans for each cup individually, allow users to choose the strength of the dose, tamp the coffee to ensure perfection, perform the brewing and dispense authentic espresso complete with a thick golden cream. Oh, and it will also dispose of the used coffee grounds in a special drawer so the machine is 'ready-to-go' for next time.
The adjustable water level setting allows users to make espresso or regular coffee and the by-pass pre-ground coffee doser means users can choose to store, for example, decaffeinated coffee.
Offering both speed and simplicity, the NEW Saeco "Rapid Steam" technology has revolutionized latte and cappuccino making by eliminating the waiting time between brewing coffee and frothing milk. Thanks to its double-boiler system, the machine can brew espresso and froth milk simultaneously. Saeco is the only company that includes this feature in household espresso machines.
There is also the choice of an automatic "cappuccinatore", which enhances milk frothing by automatically pulling milk directly from a container and dispensing the heated frothed milk into a cup, or the basic "pannarello" to foam milk or get hot water for tea or tisane.
The full line of Saeco domestic espresso machines range from $290 to $2,400, with the fully automated machines starting at $775. Machines also come in a variety of styles and colours.
Select Vancouver retailers carry the Saeco line including: Bella Vita, Cookworks, ECM, Espressotec, Gourmet Warehouse, The Kitchen Store at Park Royal and The Kitchen Garden.
Or visit the new Saeco West showroom and service center at 1743 Boundary Rd, Vancouver.
