For Immediate Release ¡V Aptos, Calif., November 19, 2004 ¡V Surf City Coffee Company today announced that it is donating another 100 pounds of coffee to US Troops stationed in Iraq. Coordinated through Jerry English and Cindy Stanley of Monterey via their ¡§Building Our Dreams Together¡¨ campaign, Surf City Coffee Owner/CEO Dan McCourt is providing his third installment of coffee to Iraq.

¡§I saw the cry for help on the news and figured it was my civic duty to help,¡¨ stated McCourt, himself a US Army veteran. ¡§The effort and commitment our brave people are making in Iraq stands as testament to the backbone of our country. It¡¦s but a small sacrifice to be able to provide a hot cup of Surf City Coffee to our troops in harms way.¡¨

Surf City Coffee Company is donating 100 pounds of their premium blend Columbian gourmet coffee. Surf City Coffee previously donated 100 pounds of Signature Blend to the 557th Medical Company in Tikrit, Iraq in May, 2004 and recently donated another 50 pounds of Surfer¡¦s Blend to the Morgen Jacobs shipment in support of his battalion.
