This roaster is well worth the money. I have not had a bad roast yet. It is easy to use even for a first time user. Some say it is hard to get a dark roast from this roaster, but I am not a dark roast kind of guy so it works great for me. I mostly roast 1/4 or 1/2 pounds at a time, only what I will use in afew days. It is great to always have freah coffee on hand. Easy to get consistent roasts. Not alot of smoke, I roast indoors on my stove top with range hood on. Have set the smoke dector off afew times, some beans smoke more than others. If you are thinking about getting this roaster do it. You will be happy. Great customer support from Behmor.
