Detailed Commentary

After using a Reg Barber with the short, stubby handle for over a year now I thought it would be cool to try a new tamper. I thought that for the price and style the Bumper would be my favorite...and it has become that. It's heavier and the piston is thicker than the previous tampers I've used. I like the feel of the handle. It looks and feels high quality. I love it. It comes with a small, rubber pad that covers the bottom and sides of the piston when not in use. It's kind of like a docking bay for the tamper. I'm not sure if the intent is to protect the surface you keep the tamper on or protect the piston surface from scratches, whatever the purpose is, it's a great little extra. I look forward to trying other products from Bumper now.

Buying Experience

espressoparts.com is always awesome.

Three Month Followup

I love this tamper. Still my favorite.
