Bought this book for reference and it is perfect. Has a very detailed section on the history of home roasting and coffee roasting in general. Also includes section on each coffee growing region and specific characteristics of those regions.
All in all, this book covered a little of everything related to coffee roasting. I would have liked to see a bit more info relevant to current home roasting trends. I also found his website to be helpful and answer a few more questions.
Overall, this book was well worth the price, it makes a great gift for anyone interested in home roasting and is great just sitting around your house, as a "coffee table book".
