Detailed Commentary
The MSR MugMate is a single mug filter for brewing coffee. The filter sits inside your mug of coffee and then you put the grounds in the filter and pour hot water over the grounds. Water fills the mug as the coffee steeps then you simply raise the filter (and thus the coffee grounds) out of the brewed coffee. Its that simple and very effective.
The resulting cup is very full flavored and in fact very much like French press coffee. Easy to use and a great value on a filter that's easy to clean and should last for a very long time. I'm very happy with mine and highly recommend it!
