When I went on a low-carb diet,  I found it necessary to monitor all of my food intake - ESPECIALLY SWEETS to a very high degree of accuracy.  This scale suited my needs perfects.  The positive product points are the rubber faceplate, I like the way the keys feel.   The display is extra large and easy to read from across the room.  The parts counting feature actually comes in handy,  the included bowl makes it easy for me to weigh items, and the stainless steel tray makes cleaning up spilt chocolate a snap!

I would have liked a higher capacity,  perhaps twice as much (1200 grams).   But to get to a 1200 gram scale that reads in 0.1 grams,  I would have had to spend a lot more

I needed a precision digital scale for my low carb diet.   I found I needed something that read to 0.1 gram to monitor sugars and sweets precisely.  I shopped around and foung this nice modern looking scale at Saveonscales.com.    I really shopped around first though,  I checked the review websites like this one and Scalemagazine.com.    Then I started shopping :)

I don't trust Ebay so I bought one direct from a store online.   The scale arrived about 3 days after I ordered it.  It came with batteries and a manual.  It has a lot of stuff that I rarely use,  like a parts counting feature.   However my husband was able to use the parts counting feature to count a bowl of nuts (not the food but the metal part for his garage).

I'm really glad that I bought this scale and I am a bit surprised that it cost so little.    I bought the Black color scale to match my kitchen.  The Stainless tray matches my subzero quite perfectly.

Anyway if you're looking for a digital scale to count carbs,  I don't think you'll do my better then this little scale.

It was incredibly easy,  I just went to their site and ordered it.  They didn't force me to use Paypal (I hate paypal),  and my scale arrived 3 days after I ordered it.  The scale was well packed and didn't have any damage
