Positive Product Points

It's small, light and precise.  The cover doubles as the weighing container, which is just big enough for 14 gm for a double.

Negative Product Points

It's a bit too small.  Something 50% bigger would have been better for the kitchen counter.

Detailed Commentary

These are real drug dealer's scales.  1 - 200 gm in 0.1 gm increments.  1 bean is about 0.1 gm, so it's pretty precise.  I was looking to increase the consistency of the amount of coffee I used per pull, and didn't see the point in getting one precise to only 1 gm, besides I'ts a real geek's toy.   At 35 sterling these were the cheapest such scales I could find in the UK, most others were around 50 to 60, which I considered too expensive.  The scales are just 4.5" x 3" x 0.9" weighing 130gm, and would easily slip into the inside pocket of your neighborhood dealer. Construction is of quite reasonable black plastic, fairly cheap, but looks durable. 3 AAA bateries power it, I don't yet know how long they will last.  And yes, my pulls have improved.  I've eliminated one variable, which makes it easier to control the other 2 (gind and tamp pressure).

Buying Experience

Direct from www.myweigh.com.  Next day delivery as they promised.

Three Month Followup

I'm still pleased with this purchase, the original (included) batteries are still in use 3 months on.

One Year Followup

The original batteries still going strong....  A good purchase.
