Bottom Line: The best little scale I have used!
Positive Product Points

Large surface area- about the size of a saucer, holds just about everything nicely.

Auto shut off, tare, and will switch between grams and lbs.

Increments of 1/8 oz or 1 gram (up to 1 Kg- then by 2gr)

Very accurate.

Negative Product Points

None that I have found.

Detailed Commentary

This is a fantastic little scale, I use it only for coffee, but it measures up to 5lbs so it will handle just about anything.  I find all my coffee tastes better if I have some way to measure it out accuratly, so it is consistant.  I used to put in a few more beans, and then a few more the next day, untill my wife couldn't drink the coffee!  So I bought a scale- now even the kids can make a great cup of coffee- and when I break out the french press or vac pot after a month or so of non-use I don't have to experiment, I have it on a sticky note- 10 grams of coffee for the french press.

When I took my large scale down to be certified, I grabbed this one to have it checked as well.  It is accurate enough to be state certified, of course the not legal for trade sticker on the bottom prevented that!

Buying Experience

Sweet Marias is the best!  I buy most of my coffee equiptment there (if they sell it I buy from them) and all of my green beans.
