Product Craftmanship Thin screen in chaffing area. Adhesive on glass chamber wears out with continual Full roasts. Very smoky, like fill the house smoky. Wore machine out and got it April 2006
Detailed Commentary
For the most part, I've had a satisfactory experience. The coffee has tasted great. After the glass chamber wore out the coffee quality goes down because of a decrease in air flow effeciancy (painfull because the replacment is about a third of the roasters price). The base of the maching which is a hard plastic has cracked making it difficult to remover the bean chamber. This may be a cause of the breakdown of the bean chamber. The screen in the chaf collection is very thin and difficult ot clean, and you have to keep it very clean to ensure good air flow.
Buying Experience
The grean Beanery is an awsome place with just about everything you could want. Great staff as well.
