I have used two motors and now am in need a new one. The manufacturer has not responded to any of my emails nor phone messages. My roasting is done on a weekly basis in eight oz batches, one each week. I do not recommend the machine for the stated reasons. I'm now looking for a replacement roaster. Anyone out there is welcome to respond with your ideas. When I replaced the first motor I was advised by the parts dealer that the Gene has motor life issues and to be extra careful about cleaning the motor chamber. I was advised to modify the install process. I did not follow the advise but prefered to install and operate as per the manual. Bad mistake.
