Very simple to use. A reasonable price for what your getting. Although stories on the Internet vary, mine has been very reliable.
Negative Product Points
Requires that other electronics on the same circuit not be used simultaneously, this is the case in my house as the wiring is at least 60 years old. The small capacity is a drawback now that larger capacity roasters on coming on to the market.
Detailed Commentary
This is a review of the Home Innovations Precision, the white version of the Precision. From what I have read it has slightly updated electronics from the original version, along with several other minor changes.
While others have reported problems with their Precision I can report almost one year of trouble free use. I roast several times a week and sometimes when I need coffee for a party several times a day. I once took the unit apart to oil it but found that was not really required and didn’t help that much. The roasts are consistent.
Since my purchase several new roasters have come out on the market with larger capacities, and I plan to buy one once my Precision finally breaks. If you are a starter roaster and can find this machine it is an excellent place to begin.
I would suggest to anyone planning on roasting to put together some sort of roasting files so that you can keep track of your roasts.
