Bottom Line: Good in a pinch. In the final analysis, get your beans from the big machines!
Positive Product Points

Keepin' it simple no doubt.. drop in the beans.. get a ventilated area..press go and wait -- 24 hours later: coffee brewin' time

Negative Product Points

I have heard some bad things about reliability yet time after time
I get consistent results.. no complaints here/..

Detailed Commentary

Having used the bigger commercial roasters, I see these things as something of a novelty. I know for a fact that you cannot get a decent roast signature from this little gaffers. The fact is: You are wasting good beans running them through this device. This is little, if any, flavor development. Nonetheless, it is a novelty and in the event that I have no BEAN, I can always grab the MACHINE ( if I have some green coffee that is ).. for espresso, it is good to extend some "real roasted" coffee with the fresh stuff from this device.

Buying Experience

It was a gift. What else!?
