Easy to use, does what it say it will do! Just read the manual.. Not a big manual at all. Easy to program, just understand the whole roasting process to get the full advantage of this machine.. It took me a few roasts to get it down.
Negative Product Points
Vent attachment isnt worth a damn.. Use outdoors or under a hood. You can only roast a couple of batches a day .. Noisey
Detailed Commentary
I never roasted my own coffee before; I read up on roasting and looked for as much as I could in regards to the i-Roast roasters. Once I understood what it was I was doing, I attempted my first roasts,
Presets 1 and 2.. are not very good. SO I figured out my own profiles using all the information I found on roasting. I now roast about 4 to 5 batches a week, I love it. I only wish I could roast a little more, but I can’t see spending $600 for ½ lb roasters so my i-roast 2 does me well and was well worth the price.
It is noisy, but you can hear first and 2nd crack and the chamber contents are visible so you can really make a nice roast
