I would highly recommend the RK Drum to anyone who is serious about coffee roasting, but reluctant to spend the money on a big roaster.

I had troubles with the pin that holds the door closed, but have now solved that.
Detailed Commentary
The RK Drum has been a big benefit in getting my business off the ground. I soon learned that one wasn't going to be enough, and given that I was going commercial I was nervous not having a backup roaster. So - I ordered another and now that it's December and my volume is really increasing, I'm ordering the biggest drum Ron makes - an 8# capacity roaster.
Ron has been very helpful and supportive, and also helped me with many of the nuances of coffee roasting. I just can't say enough about his philosophy toward customer service! It is no exaggeration that I wouldn't have a coffee-roasting business, if not for Ron. There seemed to be no other viable roasting option for me between the table-top roasters and the huge commercial roasters.
My first RK Drum went on a Weber Silver Genesis bbq, and the second on a Brinkmann - which I actually like better than the Weber. Once the roaster is installed and adjusted, it's a very easy roasting method. The motor Ron provides is a work-horse.
